January Singer Songwriter Showcase
January Singer Songwriter Showcase
January's showcase has some amazing acts we are excited to introduce to Wilmington. Performances by Chuck Knott, Emma Cullen, King Zimm, Matthew Halley, Melissa VanFleet, and Simon Lowe.

Each artist will perform two 15 minute sets in rotation. Tickets are $10 at the door.
Chuck Knott
A beat-it-to-the-ground multi-instrumentalist & singer from right around these parts, Chuck is proud to be part of Wilmington's tight knit & collaborative music scene. Whether it be with The Knott Brothers, New Sweden, Spokey Speaky, sitting in with the Pangs, or busking in the streets, he looks for any outlet to share a few moments of exhilarance with anyone caring to listen and commit some energy toward the stage (or street corner or bonfire for that matter). That being said, and with having the pleasure to play with all of these great groups, it is a welcome
alternative to be able to perform a solo set of songs that aren't in rotation in the aforementioned groups in an intimate setting on the beautiful stage of The Queen.
Emma Cullen
Emma Cullen is a 14 year old singer-songwriter who has recorded a self-titled 6 song EP produced in Nashville and most recently a 2 song EP "Left on the Tracks" produced close to home outside of Philly. She loves to write, sing and play her guitar.
King Zimm
King Zimm is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, hip-hop artist, and instrumentalist from Philadelphia, PA. Born into a musical family, he was influenced early on by the many different genres played around the house growing up. Zimm’s signature 'Rock N Flow’ sound incorporates elements of rock, soul, pop, and hip-hop to create music that is both new and instantly familiar.
Matthew Halley
Matthew Halley is a musical chameleon with a creative personality and vocal range that spans several octaves. As a
wildlife biologist, he has lived and worked extensively in tropical Asia, the Middle East, Central and South America.
Melissa VanFleet
Raised with an appreciation for all types of music, award-winning alternative artist/songwriter/musician Melissa VanFleet has successfully created her own unique sound, combining influences from rock, soul, and blues. In addition to her seasoned and consistent voice and her ability to effortlessly play instruments by ear, Melissa's honest lyrics, moving melodies, and her eclectic spin on a vast array of cover songs earn her much appraisal among listeners and have aided in the organic, steady growth of her active fan base. She has captivated audiences in venues
internationally with her impressive live show and is currently touring and promoting her debut release, the
carefully crafted "Stars In My Eyes" EP.
Simon Lowe
Subverting classic and modern sounds into a twisted blend of
acoustic bluesy indie pop with a sultry edge.
